Hydraulic lifting and handling
Hydraulic handling is a type of transport of heavy industrial components provided by sliding the cargo atop sliding beams. The transport is completed on construction sites, in shipyards, industrial halls, etc. In sea and inland ports, it enables to move heavy loads from the place of assembly to the range of floating and ship cranes, and load on and unload from pontoons. Another important application is use of the system for assembly or disassembly of equipment on their foundations, unloading from wagons or cars.
Load weighing
Weighing of heavy loads is important wherever it is necessary to assess the load of means of transport such as barges, specialist multi-axle semi-trailers, etc. It enables to safely plan the cargo transport, including the loading capacity of flyovers and displacement of vessels. Knowing the cargo weight enables to choose the right type of crane to lift it. We have a special set for weighing of heavy and oversized cargo up to 1200 T.
Specialised inland transport
Port Consultants has its own fleet of vessels offering the loading capacity up to 301 T. It enables to transport cargo using the whole available network of waterways. Very shallow draught allows unloading even in very shallow places.
